United Pro 2k26 Welcomes Former NBA Veteran DeQuan Jones

The United Pro 2k26 is proud to announce the signing of former NBA player DeQuan Jones, who has agreed to terms with the GIE Cibao Immortals of the Dominican Republic for the 2026 United Pro Invitational presented by Sports Illustrated Tickets.

An Atlanta native, Jones starred at Wheeler High School, where he was named the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Player of the Year, earned Parade All-America honors, and was selected to the EA Sports All-America Team. ESPN ranked him as the nation’s No. 5 forward in the Class of 2008.

Jones continued his career at the University of Miami, where he developed into one of the top athletes in the ACC before beginning a professional career that has taken him to the highest levels of basketball.

After graduating, Jones signed with the Orlando Magic and went on to spend time with the Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Atlanta Hawks.

In the NBA G League, Jones became one of the top players in the league. With the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, he averaged 18.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and shot 42.7% from three-point range, earning:

  • NBA G League Most Improved Player of the Year
  • NBA G League All-Star
  • NBA G League Slam Dunk Champion

Jones has also built an outstanding international résumé, competing in Italy, Japan, France, China, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, and Kuwait. He has played in both the FIBA Europe Cup and EuroCup, collecting championships and league honors around the world.
