Glen Rice Jr. named UPI Player of the Year
Glen Rice Jr., American shooting guard GIE Cibao Immortals from Dominican Republic, was honored as the Sports Illustrated Tickets Player of the Year of United Pro Invitational. He is the Georgia Tech alumni from 2012. Rice Jr. was also named to the First Team. He was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 4 campaign. Rice Jr.'s exceptional play earned him the top spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of 16 and third in rebounds (8.2rpg) and first in assists per game, an average of 7. He has totaled 3 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 2 games on the year. Rice Jr.'s 20 points against Atlanta Black Ice were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 5 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
