Berlin Braves 2000 (Germany) tabs rookie Wisdom Uboh in his first year in pro basketball

Berlin Braves 2000 (Germany) have signed 23-year-old American guard Wisdom Uboh. Uboh, who played college basketball at CSU, most recently played for Georgia Spartans in the United Pro Invitational. In 5 games this summer, he averaged 11.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. He would later be named Usbasket.com All-United Pro Second Team.

Among the many awards, his college team won a school best 27 games. The Columbus State Cougars won the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Regular Season title.

Uboh earned Third-Team All-PBC honors after a solid senior campaign, averaging 13.3 points and 3.6 assists per contest. Produced eight games of 15 or more points. Scored a season-high 24 points at Georgia Southwestern and made a career-high seven threes in the win versus Middle Georgia.

He dropped 57 threes so far this season, shooting for 39.6% from long range while also shooting 41.6% from the field. In addition, Uboh dished out a team second-best 90 assists this season and gathered 25 steals as well.
